The Norfolk Rescue Mission is having its 23rd Annual Celebration Banquet this year on Thursday, November 7 at the DeVent Center at Divots in Norfolk, located at 4200 W. Omaha Ave.
The doors open at 5:30 pm, with a meal beginning at 6:30 pm. We will have a time of worship to our Lord and God, a time of testimonies, a "State of the Mission" address, special music, and an inspirational message.
Tickets are free-of-charge, but RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. We need sponsors for tables at $200 to cover the costs of the meal. Sponsors have the option to reserve tickets for their friends/family at their entire table (10), or they can reserve fewer tickets and leave seats for other guests. Please call the Mission office at 402.371.6484 to sponsor a table, reserve tickets, or for more information.
The fall and summer months are slow months for receiving financial donations at the Mission. The larger gifts we received at Christmas and in end-of-year giving have been exhausted. Yet the homeless and needy are still coming to the Mission for food and shelter; we have utilities to pay and our staff needs to be paid for the service they provide. Would you consider giving today to help with our ongoing needs? Thank you and Bless you!
