SERVICE AT THE MISSION SINCE

January 2018

I grew up in Northeast Nebraska in a large family (6 brothers and 1 sister) My mother faithfully took us to church. In my early teens I accepted Christ and was baptized in my faith.

I met my husband at a Youth for Christ rally. We became friends and later married. Bruce and I have actively served in our local church body and hosted home Bible studies. We feel our gift is hospitality and have shared meals with many old and new friends. We are the parents of one daughter and two sons and have nine grandchildren.

I retired from the hectic, stressful life of working only to realize that I was not ready for retirement. Because I was blessed with George and Roxann Fox’s testimonies and friendship, I decided to volunteer at the Mission. My volunteering turned into part-time employment. I have always had a heart for the less fortunate and feel God has led me to the Mission.
